The Way to Our Church

This page will explain the way from each nearest station. Please refer
to it when you come to our church.

The Way to Our Church – Part 1 From the Keihan Train Sanjo Station
	When getting out of the Keihan train station in Sanjo, you should leave by the number 7 exit to ground level.
	After exiting number 7 on the ground level, turn right and cross the Sanjo Bridge. You are on Sanjo Street and facing west. Continue heading west for about 300 meters to the intersection of Kawaramachi and Sanjo Streets.
	When you reach the Kawaramachi intersection, turn right. You will be facing north.
	From there continue for about 100 meters and you will first see the gate of the Cathedral compound on your right. It is set back from the street on a narrow strip of land so it is very easy to walk past without noticing.
The Way to Our Church – Part 2 From Hankyu Railway Kyoto-kawaramachi Station
	When you get off at the Hankyu Kyoto-kawaramachi station, you should leave the underground from exit 3A.
	When leaving from Exit 3A go to the corner and turn right onto Kawaramachi Street. Walk north along Kawaramachi Street all the way to the Sanjo Street intersection.
	As you cross Sanjo Street and look west you will see the Sanjo shopping arcade as in the picture on your left.
	Continue on Kawaramachi Street for about 100 meters north of that intersection.You will first see the gate of the Kawaramachi Church on your right. The church is set back from the street on a narrow strip of land so it is very easy to walk past without noticing.
The Way to Our Church – Part 3 From the Kyoto Municipal Subway’s Kyoto City Hall Station
	Leave the underground shopping mall from Exit – #1.
	Go up to ground level, turn around and go to the corner of the Kawaramachi-Oike Street intersection.
